Suffolk, located in the western Tidewater region of Virginia, has a population of more than 86,000 residents and is one of the fastest growing cities in Virginia. It is also the largest city in land area in the state and 11th in the U.S. While it is mostly a rural community, it is home to several well- known companies including Planters Peanuts, which is now owned by Kraft. Lipton Tea, Target and QVC are among the major employers in the city. The city has an AAA Bond rating.

David A. Love and his client service assistant, Christy Rose, joined Davenport & Company in the fall of 2011 and opened the Suffolk Branch in the spring of 2012. David has been a Financial Advisor for more than 27 years and is currently a Senior Vice President within the firm. He is active in the community and serves on several boards. He is currently the President of the Suffolk Rotary Club. David enjoys spending time with his wife and their two sons. Christy has served in the financial industry for more than 15 years. She enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children and in her free time, volunteers with her civic association.
