Kim, originally from Raleigh, NC, earned a B.S. degree in Finance from East Carolina University. She began her investment career in 1995 with A.G. Edwards & Sons. In 1998, she joined Davenport & Company’s Norfolk office. Kim now serves as the Branch Manager for both Davenport’s Norfolk and Suffolk offices.
Kim earned a Professional Financial Planner designation from Old Dominion University in 2007 and later that year became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. She is Series 7, 63/65 and 31 registered with the Financial Industry Regulatory Association (FINRA) and is licensed to sell insurance and annuity products.
Active in the community, Kim belongs to the King’s Daughters Downtown Circle and serves as Secretary on the Children’s Health Foundation Board at Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters; Treasurer for St. Michael Lutheran Church in Virginia Beach; and Girl Scout Troop 905 Co-Leader.
