Serving our clients and protecting our community have been our top priorities over the last several months. While we have been able to conduct our business without interruption from remote locations, we are following guidelines to create a safe and healthy work environment and have gradually allowed a return to the office. All of our offices have remained open to process physical items and we now invite clients to come in on a limited basis, following CDC guidelines – including wearing masks and keeping a safe physical distance. Safer At Home
Protecting the safety of our community and our associates is our top priority. Davenport has been very pleased to be able to keep our business running from our remote locations since March. As states ease restrictions, many businesses are reopening their doors under limited conditions. Since we are able to serve our clients via phone and teleconferencing, we have made the decision to slowly return to the office but still prohibit visitors at this time. We are proud to say we have been able to conduct business remotely with very limited disruption to the services we provide. Davenport is closely tracking the latest developments and reviewing guidelines and situational updates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). We are also actively engaged with the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA), which is providing ongoing industry updates.
The well-being of our associates and our ability to fulfill client service commitments are our top priorities. Our Business Continuity Plan (BCP) team and executive leadership are planning accordingly to ensure business operates, as usual, including uninterrupted service delivery to our clients. Starting Monday, March 16, all Davenport locations have revised their office hours to be open from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. until further notice.
As a precaution for you and our associates, we are following the CDC guidelines to limit interaction and suggest clients who have scheduled appointments with their Davenport Financial Advisor consider conducting business by phone or email rather than an in-person meeting.
