Davenport & Company Response to COVID-19 Outbreak

Welcome Back!

We appreciate your patience and understanding over the last year as we have navigated the COVID pandemic. We have been through a lot together – from working remotely to a gradual return to the office and limits on visitors and clients coming in to our offices.

Starting June 1, we welcome you back to our offices. We remain committed to the protection and safety of our clients, visitors and associates. We encourage all individuals who are not fully-vaccinated to wear a face covering and practice physical distancing while in our offices. We appreciate your cooperation and the relationship we have with you. We look forward to seeing you soon!

We’re Here For You!

Serving our clients and protecting our community have been our top priorities over the last several months. While we have been able to conduct our business without interruption from remote locations, we are following guidelines to create a safe and healthy work environment and have gradually allowed a return to the office. All of our offices have remained open to process physical items and we now invite clients to come in on a limited basis, following CDC guidelines – including wearing masks and keeping a safe physical distance. We are anxious to see you in whatever manner best suits your needs – whether in a pre-scheduled meeting at our office or via a Zoom or WebEx call.

Before coming to any of our locations, please call your Financial Advisor to check out the protocols in place.

Safer At Home

Protecting the safety of our community and our associates is our top priority. Davenport has been very pleased to be able to keep our business running from our remote locations since March. As states ease restrictions, many businesses are reopening their doors under limited conditions.  Since we are able to serve our clients via phone and teleconferencing, we have made the decision to slowly return to the office but still prohibit visitors at this time. We are proud to say we have been able to conduct business remotely with very limited disruption to the services we provide. Whether we are in the office or at home, we are available to assist you with your investment needs and encourage you to call us or send an email if you need anything.

We appreciate your trust, your understanding and your patience. We look forward to seeing you soon!

We are here to help!

All Davenport offices are open remotely and our Financial Advisors and associates are available to serve your investment needs. We have limited our on-site staff to the minimum required in order to accept mail and perform other functions for our clients that can be performed only in the office. We encourage you to call us or send an email if you need anything.

We miss seeing you and hope to be working together in person soon.

Our top priorities are to serve our clients and protect our community. With this in mind  ̶  and following guidelines from local government  ̶  all Davenport offices are temporarily closed. We may not physically be in the office, but we are open for business and will continue serving your investment needs from home.

We want to assure you that there will not be a disruption to the exceptional service you are accustomed to receiving.

  • We will continue communicating as normal with full access to email and our office phones.
  • We can continue placing trades and taking orders as requested.
  • We will have access to the extensive resources and experts within Davenport.
  • We have security and support plans in place to ensure that your account information and data are safe and protected.

If there is anything you need or if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to call.

Thank you for your patience and trust in us. We will get through this together.

Davenport continues to follow CDC guidelines to limit interactions and practice social distancing. In light of recent developments and requirements, and to protect the safety of our community, we are restricting access to all of our branch locations until further notice. While we are not accepting in person meetings, we are open for business and we invite our clients to contact their Davenport Financial Advisor, or call the main office line of a branch near you. We understand that there may be special circumstances and we can make arrangements to meet with you as needed. Thank you for your trust and understanding as we navigate these difficult times.

Davenport is closely tracking the latest developments and reviewing guidelines and situational updates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). We are also actively engaged with the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA), which is providing ongoing industry updates.

The well-being of our associates and our ability to fulfill client service commitments are our top priorities. Our Business Continuity Plan (BCP) team and executive leadership are planning accordingly to ensure business operates, as usual, including uninterrupted service delivery to our clients. Starting Monday, March 16, all Davenport locations have revised their office hours to be open from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. until further notice.

As a precaution for you and our associates, we are following the CDC guidelines to limit interaction and suggest clients who have scheduled appointments with their Davenport Financial Advisor consider conducting business by phone or email rather than an in-person meeting. If you need help or have questions or concerns, call your Financial Advisor or contact our Client Services help desk at 1-888-742-1863.

Your safety is very important to us.

For information on Coronavirus (COVID-19), visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website.

Follow these everyday preventive actions to help prevent the spread of respiratory diseases, as outlined by the CDC:

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Stay home when you are not feeling well.
  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze, then throw the tissue in the trash and wash your hands.
  • Beware of scams. Look out for suspicious email and text messages, medical supply scams, and fraudulent donation sites that may impersonate a company, charity, or government agency. The intent is to convince you to share sensitive information such as usernames and passwords, make purchases or donations on spoof websites, or download malware onto your device by opening a malicious attachment. If you receive a suspicious email or text message, don’t respond, click on any links, or open attachments. Verify the authenticity of any website before making a purchase or donation.

As always, we thank you for your continued trust in us.
