Prior to joining Davenport in July 2021, Sarah worked as a Financial Advisor at Edward Jones for more than eight years. Sarah graduated with a BS from James Madison University. She is Series 7 and 66 registered with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and is licensed to offer life and health insurance and annuities. Sarah holds her Accredited Asset Management Specialist designation, awarded by the College for Financial Planning.

Sarah learned the importance of planning and became a financial advisor because her father, a CPA, died when he was 55 and was wise enough to leave a trust that provided for his six children, and for Sarah’s mother to maintain her lifestyle for 32 years.

Sarah’s experience in working with clients includes retirement planning, investment strategies, estate law, employee benefits and life insurance. She works with clients to help them grow, organize, protect and transfer their wealth the most tax efficient way.*

Born and raised in Staunton, Sarah proudly serves the community on the boards of the Salvation Army and the Happy Birthday America organizations. In her free time, she enjoys fitness, reading investment books and historical fiction, and going to the lake with her family. She and her husband, Todd, have two daughters and two grandsons.
