Tommy graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a Minor in Psychology; he also earned his MALS from Hollins University. Prior to joining Davenport in 2008, he played on the ATP Pro Tennis Tour for 2.5 years (1994-1996), and served as the Men’s Assistant Tennis Coach from 1998 – 2001 at Virginia Tech. Tommy then became the Head Men and Women’s coach at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
Active in the community, Tommy serves on the board and as President of the Salem Educational Foundation; on the board of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes; and is a member of the Downtown Roanoke Rotary Club. His wife Roseann is an Oncology nurse and they have two children.
