Tom has more than 25 years of experience in the securities industry. Prior to joining Davenport in 2019, he was a Financial Advisor and Senior Director at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. Tom focuses on growing and protecting the assets of high net worth clients (individuals, families, corporate executives, and businesses), including leveraging the resources at Davenport to help clients pursue goals and solve complex financial issues. He is Series 7, 63 and 65 registered with FINRA and licensed to offer long-term care and life insurance.
Tom graduated from Randolph Macon College with a degree in Business and Economics. He is an avid tennis player and coach, and in 2014, received the US Tennis Association (USTA) Mid-Atlantic Community Outreach Award. Also in 2014, Tom and his family were named the USTA Mid-Atlantic’s Family of the Year.
When he is not spending time with family, Tom can be found on the tennis court coaching the boy’s team at Western Branch High School. He is also a coach for the USTA. He and his wife, Alison, reside in Chesapeake, Virginia and have five children ranging in age from 8 to 20.
