Mary Davis began her investment career at Davenport & Company in 1986 when she became an assistant to well-respected stockbroker, Alexander Armour. Mr. Armour passed away in 1998 after almost 78 years with Davenport and Mary took over his practice. Today she continues to serve many of his same clients and their families.

Mary’s goal is to make a difference in her clients’ financial lives beyond managing their financial assets, including a passion for finding income solutions for retirees. The answers you provide to her questions influence the investment strategy she would develop to help you prioritize and reach your life goals as well as pass on your wealth and values to future generations. She is committed to educating her clients about investments, which empowers them to make wise investment choices.

Mary is Series 7, 63, and 65 registered with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and is licensed to sell insurance and annuity products. She earned her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 2007. In 2018, Mary graduated summa cum laude from American Public University with a BA in Philosophy and a concentration in Ethics.

Mary and her husband, Rick, are fans of bowling but she has yet to roll that perfect 300 game. They enjoy travelling, participating in cultural experiences, and taking photographs of the landscapes and monuments they visit. Mary is also an avid reader.
