Lew began his investment career in 1994 as a Financial Advisor with Wheat, First Securities, Inc. He served on the firm’s Leadership Council and was the recipient of the Wheat First Outstanding Performance Award in 1995. Lew moved his successful financial practice to the Norfolk office of Davenport & Company in 1998. Prior to entering the securities industry, he operated his own small business dealing with wholesale and retail products.

As a Financial Advisor, Lew serves individuals, families, and small-business owners. He offers his clients financial advisory and planning strategies to help build, protect, and preserve their wealth. He begins each new client relationship by listening to you. Once he has identified your financial and life goals, he will develop an investment plan that takes into account your risk tolerance and time horizon. He will also factor in other investments as part of an overall asset allocation and diversification strategy. Your custom investment plan may include stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and professional money managers. Lew will monitor your investment plan and meet with you periodically to discuss rebalancing and other necessary adjustments due to changes in the market, as well as your life goals.

Lew’s investment philosophy is to manage his clients’ money as he manages his own. He also specializes in helping business owners design and establish company sponsored retirement plans, as well as providing other business planning strategies to help capture life’s work.
