Heather has more than 15 years of financial industry experience. She began her career at Davenport in 2006 as a Registered Client Service Associate. Prior to joining Davenport, she worked at BB&T in their Corporate Employee Benefits Division where she administered 401(k) plans and Profit Sharing Plans. Heather established her financial advisory practice in 2013 at Davenport serving both individuals and families. She is Series 7 and 66 registered and is licensed to offer insurance and annuity products.

Heather begins each new business relationship by listening to her clients’ needs in order to determine if her services are a good fit. Once she has a clear understanding of their life goals, risk tolerance, and time horizon, she determines the proper asset allocation and diversification for a portfolio. Heather helps clients select the most appropriate investments, which may include stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and professional money managers. Once a portfolio is established, she will discuss the level of contact they should expect, along with the managing and monitoring of investments. This is designed to help keep people on track to meet their financial goals.

Heather is an Alumnus of Campbell University and has earned her Chartered Retirement Plans SpecialistSM designation. She is a native of Sanford and she and her husband, David, have two children, Harley and Jackson. She is a member of Jonesboro Presbyterian Church.
