Ginny has more than 35 years of experience in the investment industry. Prior to joining Davenport & Company in 2007, she worked for 19 years as a Vice President for AG Edwards & Sons. She is Series 7, 63, 24, 65 and 66 registered and is licensed to sell long-term care insurance. Ginny has served as a Davenport board member since 2018.

Ginny graduated from the University of Georgia with a BA in economics. She also received her MA in liberal studies from Hollins University in 2000. Ginny is actively involved in several community organizations including the Roanoke Women’s Foundation, which she co-founded in 2004, the Junior League both locally and internationally, and Daughters of the American Revolution. She sits on the boards of the Carilion Foundation, St. John’s Episcopal Church, Mill Mountain Theatre, & PHILANOS, a national organization supporting the women’s philanthropy movement. She was honored by the MS Society with the Silver Hope Award, presented at the 2018 Dinner of Champions.


Ginny Jarrett is registered with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) to offer services to clients who reside in Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia and Wisconsin.

She is licensed to offer insurance and annuity products to residents in Arizona, Maryland, North Carolina, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
