Liz’s passion for analytics, wealth management and financial education led her to a career in the finance industry. She joined Davenport in January 2022 after seven years at Altria, where she served in several brand management roles and gained valuable knowledge of finance, business strategy and communication plan development, which she uses in her role as a financial advisor today. At Altria, Liz was an advocate for Diversity Equity and Inclusion within the organization. She was awarded the Chairman’s Award for the incorporation of diverse perspectives in the MarkTen® campaign to create more authentic marketing executions that connect better with transcultural audiences of consumers.
Using her experience with customer behavior studies and analyzing data, Liz offers her clients a detailed analytical approach to financial planning. She works with clients to develop personalized plans that help them to meet their goals and needs. Liz draws on the extensive resources at Davenport and partners with the firm’s Asset Management and Financial Services departments to assist her in providing comprehensive investment strategies.
Liz earned a BS in Commerce from the University of Virginia and a MBA from the University of Chicago, where she graduated with honors. She is Series 7 and 66 registered with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
In her free time, Liz is active with the Junior League of Richmond and St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church. Her interests include cooking, attending to her vegetable garden and cheering on UVA at football games. She and her husband, Patrick, enjoy trying out the many great restaurants in Richmond, VA where they reside.
