Dave specializes in taking care of his clients’ current financial needs, as well as helping them prepare for retirement. He joined Davenport in 2012. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as a Senior Mortgage Banker for Sun Trust Mortgage and Senior Mortgage Banker at Access National Mortgage. He is Series 7 and 66 registered and licensed to sell insurance.

By taking the time to understand what clients want to achieve with their assets, he offers highly personalized planning and investment advice. This approach allows Dave to choose the most appropriate investments to serve as a road map for pursuing each client’s financial goals.
Dave graduated with a BA in history and law enforcement from Pfeiffer University in North Carolina. He is involved in several community organizations including the Culpeper Presbyterian Church, the Masonic Lodge, and New Pathways, Inc. When he is not at work, Dave enjoys spending time with his wife, Norma Kay.
