Prior to joining Davenport in May 2025, Carter was in customer relations at CarMax, and in sales at Wine & Country Life. She utilizes her background in customer service and relationship management to assist the group in providing proactive, individualized and timely support to clients.
Active in the community, Carter has previously served in roles with Martha’s Market – The Women’s Committee, UVA Children’s Hospital, and St. Anne’s Belfield. Outside of work, she enjoys working out, going on walks with her English Bulldog, Darla Sue, and spending time on the water paddle boarding and kayaking. When she is not on the move, she enjoys relaxing by watching lacrosse, basketball and football. Carter has three adult children. Her son played lacrosse at the University of Richmond and her daughter played at Virginia Tech and UNC Charlotte.
