Michael joined Davenport and Crawley Wealth Advisors as a Financial Advisor in 2020. He is Series 7 and 66 registered with FINRA and is licensed to assist with life and health insurance needs. Michael strives to build long-term relationships with clients across generations and specializes in working with growing families and small businesses. He especially enjoys in-depth financial planning conversations with clients, helping align their life goals and priorities with their finances.
Michael graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.S. in Environmental Sciences and a B.A. in Religious Studies. While at UVA, he swam on the ACC Championship-winning 2009-2010 men’s swimming and diving team. Prior to joining Davenport, Michael was an environmental research scientist with VDOT, worked in digital marketing with Merkle, and in data analytics at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
Active in his community, Michael enjoys serving in his local church and volunteering with the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank. He also serves as president of the Walter Payne Foundation, as a board member with the Nelson County Chamber of Commerce, and is an active member of the Charlottesville Chamber. Michael cherishes time with his wife, Bethany, and three young children. Away from the office, Michael enjoys mountain biking and hiking in the Blue Ridge Mountains, pickleball, and cooking for family and friends.
