Ryan joined Davenport in May 2025 bringing more than 22 years of experience in financial planning and investment management. He has earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional designation and the Accredited Asset Management Specialist designation. Ryan is Series 7, 63 and 65 registered with FINRA. He is licensed to offer insurance and annuity products.
Ryan earned a BS in Business Administration, Finance and Banking, from Appalachian State University. Active in the community, he is the president and head coach of the SoDu youth baseball club and is a member of First Baptist Church of Durham. He and his wife Gretchen reside in Durham with their two children, Hudson and Nora.
