Philip E. (Gus) Paulette

Gus has been advising clients since 2002. Prior to joining Davenport & Company in November 2016, he was a Financial Advisor and Financial Planning Specialist with the Blue Ridge Group at Morgan Stanley. He began his financial services career out of college working for Farmers Bank of Appomattox for 16 years, leaving as a Branch Manager. He is Series 7 and 66 registered and is licensed to sell life and health insurance.

Gus graduated from Hampden-Sydney with a BS in Economics. He previously served on the Appomattox County Board of Supervisors for four years; as Chairman for three years. He is an active member of Evergreen United Methodist Church where he currently serves as Lay Leader. He and his wife Pam have two grown daughters, Claire and Lauren.

Anne R. McVeigh

Anne has been an investment professional since 1985, beginning her career on the floor of the Chicago Board of Trade. Her prior experience includes Fixed Income Sales for First Boston Corp and later portfolio management at First Boston Asset Management in NYC; Portfolio Manager for the State of Kentucky in the Office of Financial Management and Economic Analysis (OFMEA); and Financial Advisor at Kidder Peabody in Greenwich, CT.

Before joining Davenport & Company in November 2016, she served as resident Branch Manager, Financial Planning Specialist and Financial Advisor with the Blue Ridge Group at Morgan Stanley. She is Series 7, 66 and 9/10 registered and is licensed to sell long-term care, life and health insurance.

Anne graduated with an associate degree in liberal arts from St. Mary’s College in Raleigh, N.C., and earned a BS in finance from DePaul University. She currently serves on the Advisory Board and Executive Board of the Lynchburg Regional Business Alliance, as well as on the Board of Trustees at Westminster Canterbury Lynchburg. She is also a member if the Lynchburg Estate Planning Council and the Lynchburg 7 Hills Lions Club. An active member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Lynchburg, Anne serves as a former Vestry member and Delegate to Council for the Episcopal Diocese of Southwestern Virginia. She and her husband Ron Thelin have one grown son, Henry.

Jason has been a Financial Advisor since 2008. Prior to joining Davenport & Company in November 2016, he was a Financial Advisor and Family Wealth Advisor with the Blue Ridge Group at Morgan Stanley. He focuses on family wealth management, long-term planning and corporate retirement plans. He is Series 7 and 66 registered and is licensed to sell life and health insurance.

Jason graduated with a BS degree from Liberty University. He is President of the Lynchburg Estate Planning Council and is an Ambassador for the Lynchburg Regional Business Alliance. He is a member of the Liberty University Varsity Club and Liberty University Flames Club. Jason is also active in the special needs community, serving with Children’s Assistive Technology Services (CATS). He and his wife Aven have three daughters, Burgin, Charlotte and Addie.

Holly began her career with J.C. Bradford in 1994 as a Client Service Associate. She joined Legg Mason, which later became Morgan Stanley, in 2001. Prior to joining Davenport & Company in November 2016, she was a Senior Registered Financial Planning Associate and assisted the Blue Ridge Group at Morgan Stanley. She is Series 7 and 66 registered and is licensed to sell life and health insurance. 

Holly graduated from Central Virginia Community College with an AAS degree in Business. She is a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church and has one daughter, Jordyn.
