Oliver Crawley Jr.

With more than 20 years as a Financial Advisor, Oliver customizes investment solutions for clients that are designed to accumulate, protect and distribute throughout their lifetime. Before joining Davenport in 2008, Oliver worked as a Financial Advisor for Smith Barney and prior to that, Legg Mason.

Oliver earned his BS in Business Administration from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has also taken courses at Campbell University toward his Master’s Degree in Business Administration. He is Series 7 and 66 registered with FINRA and is licensed to offer life and long term care insurance.

Active in his community, Oliver has served on the vestry at St. Francis Anglican Church, and serves on the board of the Railroad House Historical Association. He has served as secretary for the Kiwanis Club of Sanford and president of the Lee County Community Foundation. When he is not working, Oliver enjoys traveling with his wife Terry, photography, and watching UNC sports.

Heather has more than 20 years of financial industry experience. She began her career at Davenport in 2006 as a Registered Client Service Associate before becoming a Financial Advisor in 2013. Prior to joining Davenport, she worked at BB&T in their Corporate Employee Benefits Division where she administered 401(k) plans and Profit Sharing Plans. In addition to her work with individuals, families and small businesses, she also works with several churches and non-profits. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree and certificate in Trust and Wealth Management from Campbell University. She is Series 7 and 66 registered with FINRA and is licensed to offer life, health and long-term care insurance.

Heather resides in Sanford with her husband David and two children, Harley and Jackson. She is a member of the Jonesboro Rotary Satellite club where she is active in the local community volunteer projects including the CUOC and Salvation Army. When she is not cheering her children on at their sporting events she enjoys boating, reading and spending time with family and friends.

Laurel Johnson

Laurel joined Davenport & Company in 2019 after 15 years with Wells Fargo. With more than 20 years of financial industry experience, she is committed to providing personalized advice, guidance and support to her clients in all aspects of their financial life. Laurel takes a holistic approach in developing and implementing customized financial plans that help her clients build, manage, preserve and transition their wealth.

Laurel earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree and certificate in Trust & Wealth Management from Campbell University. She is Series 7, 6, 63 & 66 registered with FINRA, and is licensed to offer life, accident, health and long term care insurance.  

Active in the community, Laurel currently serves on the Lee County Community Foundation Board and the Ingram Family YMCA Advisory Board. She is a member of the Jonesboro Rotary Club and Professional Women’s Network of Moore County. She previously served on the Board of Trustees for Central Carolina Hospital and was a Chamber Ambassador for the Sanford Area Growth Alliance. She is a graduate of the Sanford Area Growth Alliance Chamber of Commerce Leadership Sanford program and the Moore County Leadership Institute of Moore County Chamber of Commerce.

Laurel is a native of Sanford and resides there with her husband Kent, daughter Allie and their dog, Bella. She enjoys the outdoors, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Deborah joined Davenport in September 2013. She assists the Sanford Financial Advisors with operational and administrative needs and provides client support.

Deborah attended North Carolina Wesleyan College and Central Carolina Community College. She is a member of Baptist Chapel Church in Broadway. She and her husband Rodney, live in Lillington and have four children, five grandchildren, and a dog, Zoe. In her free time, Deborah enjoys spending time with family and friends and being outdoors, especially on the lake.

Audrey has helped clients address their financial concerns and develop sound strategies by focusing on each individual’s specific needs for more than 30 years. She has dedicated her career to delivering the personalized strategies that her clients and their families deserve. She works with multi-generational high net worth individuals, families and non-profits. Integrity, objective advice, attention to detail and unwavering concern for the wellbeing of each client are the hallmarks of her client service model.

Prior to joining Davenport, Audrey was a Senior Vice President-Investment Officer at Wells Fargo Advisors; a Financial Associate at Cecil Walke & Company; and a Financial Associate at Advest, Inc. Her longtime partnership with William “Tee” Thompson III helped shape her investment philosophy. She is Series 7, 63 and 66 registered, licensed to sell long-term and life insurance, and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. Recognition has included Barron’s Top Women Advisors Summit, 2013-2016 and 2023, and Barron’s Top Teams Summit, 2015-2017.*

Active in her community, Audrey serves on several committees in her church as well as being involved in their many outreach programs. She previously served on the Leadership Committee and Finance Committee of the Middle District Baptist Association. Audrey served as a judge for the Richmond BizSense 2023 RVA Power Women.

Audrey and her husband, George, live in Ashland, Virginia and have four grown children.

Mary Davis began her investment career at Davenport & Company in 1986 when she became an assistant to well-respected stockbroker, Alexander Armour. Mr. Armour passed away in 1998 after almost 78 years with Davenport and Mary took over his practice. Today she continues to serve many of his same clients and their families.

Mary’s goal is to make a difference in her clients’ financial lives beyond managing their financial assets, including a passion for finding income solutions for retirees. The answers you provide to her questions influence the investment strategy she would develop to help you prioritize and reach your life goals as well as pass on your wealth and values to future generations. She is committed to educating her clients about investments, which empowers them to make wise investment choices.

Mary is Series 7, 63, and 65 registered with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and is licensed to sell insurance and annuity products. She earned her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 2007. In 2018, Mary graduated summa cum laude from American Public University with a BA in Philosophy and a concentration in Ethics.

Mary and her husband, Rick, are fans of bowling but she has yet to roll that perfect 300 game. They enjoy travelling, participating in cultural experiences, and taking photographs of the landscapes and monuments they visit. Mary is also an avid reader.

Colin joined Davenport & Company in 2018 and worked in the firm’s Client Services department before transitioning to the role of Associate Financial Advisor in September 2021. Prior to joining Davenport, he worked as a Financial Services Representative for T. Rowe Price. Colin is Series 6, 7, 63 and 66 registered with FINRA and is licensed to offer annuities and long-term care insurance. He earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 2023.

By taking the time to understand what clients want to achieve with their assets, Colin offers personalized financial planning and investment advice. This approach allows him to choose the most appropriate investments to serve as a road map for pursuing each client’s financial goals.

Colin graduated with a BA in Economics from the University of Lynchburg. At Lynchburg, he was a member of the men’s lacrosse team and gained financial experience working with the Student-managed Investment Fund. In his free time, he likes going to concerts and comedy shows, watching sports, and spending time with his family and friends.

For more than 20 years, Kim has been passionate about providing excellent customer service to every client she interacts with and finding ways to better serve clients’ individual needs. Prior to joining Davenport & Company in 2017, Kim worked for Wells Fargo Advisors and its predecessor firms since 2004. She holds her Series 7 and 63 registrations with FINRA.

Kim earned a BS in Psychology and a Masters in Teaching – Early Childhood Education from Virginia Commonwealth University. Her college sweetheart, Ben, and she have two children. You can often find her running a local race, cheering on her son’s baseball team or spending time with her friends and family.
