James joined Davenport & Company in April 2016. Prior to joining Davenport, he started his career at Merrill Lynch in 2012. James earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation from the College for Financial Planning. He is Series 7 and 66 registered and licensed to sell long-term care insurance.
James, a Virginia Beach native, graduated from Virginia Tech. He resides in Virginia Beach with his wife, Ashley, and their children, Jamie, Eleanor, Alastair, and Lachlan.
James enjoys spending time with his family and attending their church Coastal Community, going to the beach, and playing golf.
