The Davenport Core Fund was created to offer the same equity investment strategy available through the Davenport Asset Management Core portfolio to clients preferring a no-load mutual fund structure. The Fund blends primarily large capitalization growth—and value-oriented equity investments and seeks to limit risk through diversification among major market sectors. It places emphasis on long term investments in companies with strong and focused management, solid balance sheets—and a history of proven results. Minimum account size for this program is $5,000 or $2,000 for tax-deferred retirement accounts.
