Mutual Funds

Mutual funds offer your portfolio professional money management as well as diversification within and among asset classes. Through a mutual fund, your investments are managed using the expertise and strategy of a professional money manager, who manages the fund according to its stated objective.

Davenport's Mutual Fund Guide

The Davenport Mutual Funds

In addition to the thousands of mutual funds available, Davenport offers three mutual funds which are managed by Davenport. The Davenport Mutual Funds are managed using the same strategies as those used to manage Davenport's Employee Profit Sharing Plan, and are guided by Davenport's Investment Policy Committee (IPC), a team of Davenport's most experienced and qualified investment professionals with over 200 years of collective investment experience.

The Davenport Core Fund* seeks to achieve long-term growth of capital, blending primarily large capitalization growth and value-oriented equity investments, and seeks to limit risk through diversification among major market sectors.

The Davenport Value & Income Fund* seeks to provide income and capital appreciation using stocks with above average dividend yields. The Fund was created for investors seeking a steady and growing source of income with the potential for growth of their original investment.

The Davenport Equity Opportunities Fund* seeks to provide above average long-term capital appreciation. The Fund is managed by a two-person team, a sub-committee of the IPC, whose investment philosophy forms the foundation of the strategy: Flexible Style, Concentrated Focus, and an Opportunistic Approach. The strategy is driven by high conviction investment ideas and extensive research, with an emphasis on small-to-medium sized companies.

*An investor should consider the Fund's investment objectives, risks, charges and expenses carefully before investing. The Fund's prospectus contains this and other important information, should be read carefully before investing or sending money, and can be obtained by calling 1-888-285-1863.
Investing in securities carries risk including the possible loss of principal. There is no guarantee that a company will continue to pay a dividend. Small and mid cap company stocks may be more volatile than stocks of larger, more established companies. Please see the Fund's prospectus for further information and other risk considerations.
