Investment strategies used in Davenport Asset Management are directed by Davenport's Investment Policy Committee - a team of investment professionals with an average of 28 years of experience. This group of highly experienced professionals has worked through periods of prosperity and recession to establish an understanding of investment cycles, individual companies, and their respective industries. Each member adds unique investment experience, industry specialties, and investment perspective which helps balance the decision-making process. The Committee relies upon our in-house research analysts as well as nationally recognized research firms and the mainstream financial media to generate ideas.
In order to meet the diverse needs of individuals and institutions, Davenport Asset Management has grown to also offer external investment management expertise and flexible managed accounts, directed by your Financial Advisor. These services allow you to invest in stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and a wide variety of other investments for one annual fee.
