Since 1972, we have been managing the retirement assets of our Davenport colleagues. In 1984, Davenport Asset Management was formally started as Davenport's professional money management division.
Today, Davenport's Profit Sharing Plan is still invested exclusively in Davenport Asset Management strategies; we buy and sell for ourselves what we buy and sell for you. We believe there is simply no stronger testament to the conviction we have in our strategies, and no better way to ensure responsible stewardship for every one of our clients.

All Davenport Asset Management strategies are managed or overseen by Davenport's Investment Policy Committee — seven of Davenport's most experienced and qualified investment professionals with nearly 200 years of collective investment experience. Members of the Committee have managed money through every market of the last three decades. While they share a common philosophy and collective wisdom, their unique backgrounds, perspectives and outlooks work to balance the decision making process.
